Sony has released a new update for PlayStation 5, which is starting to roll out globally in stages today. This means that you will get access to the patch at different times depending on your country. Fortunately, the 25.02-11.00.00 update is not limited to stability improvements.
What's new in the PlayStation update?
- Improved activity cards: Activity details are now displayed in full on the cards, without the need for any additional action. Of course, potential spoilers will still be hidden.
- Support for Unicode 16.0 emojis: You can now use the latest emojis in your messages.
- Updated parental controls: When you set the restriction level to "Late teens or older", the "Communication and user-generated content" settings are automatically set to "Restrict". If you have previously configured this level, your previous settings will remain unchanged and will be displayed as "Customise".
- Improved system performance and stability: As always, Sony is working to optimise the PS5 experience.
- Notifications and usability of some screens have been improved: The interface has become even more intuitive.
Although not a major update, it's definitely not a bad one, so update as soon as you can.
