The Ukrainian Defence Forces have begun to actively use UGV SIRKO-S1 unmanned ground systems, which help to perform a wide range of tasks in combat conditions.

Here's What We Know

UGV SIRKO-S1 is a robotic transport platform with a modular design that allows it to be adapted to different needs: reconnaissance, logistics, mining and demining. All combat and tactical tasks are performed remotely, which significantly increases the safety of the military.

The communication system allows the platform to be operated at a distance of up to 3 km in line of sight, and up to 10 km with a repeater. Airless wheels and a 4x4 design provide high cross-country ability in difficult terrain.

The SIRKO-S1 is codified and is already in use in the Ukrainian Defence Forces for cargo transport, engineering and reconnaissance tasks. Operator training takes only three to five days. The robot's compact size makes it invisible to enemy surveillance devices, which is especially important on the front line.

In short, public procurement of this platform has been going on for more than two years, and the developers are constantly upgrading the system to improve its efficiency and expand its functionality.
