Qualcomm trusts TSMC to manufacture the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 instead of Samsung

It is reported that Qualcomm has decided to entrust the production of its new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip to Taiwanese company TSMC rather than Samsung, despite the latter's proven 4nm process.
Here's What We Know
The new chip will include a 3.21GHz Cortex-X4 core, three 3.01GHz Cortex-A720 cores, two 2.8GHz Cortex-A720 cores and two additional 2.02GHz Cortex-A720 cores. It is also reported that this processor will use standard ARM cores instead of Qualcomm's custom Oryon cores.
Qualcomm's decision is most likely due to a loss of confidence in Samsung caused by problems with its 3nm process technology. While Samsung continues to improve its technology, including launching mass production of fourth-generation 4nm chips, customers like Qualcomm prefer the stability and reliability of TSMC.
Samsung previously used its 4nm process to produce Exynos 2200, Google Tensor and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chips, but overheating and trottling issues with these chips negatively affected the company's reputation. Therefore, Qualcomm, in an effort to ensure high quality and stability of the new chip, chose TSMC to manufacture it.
