Map generation, interface improvements and Everest: Firaxis has released a major update to Sid Meier's Civilisation VII

Firaxis studio has released the next major update 4X-strategy Sid Meier's Civilisation VII.
Here's What We Know
Patch 1.1.1 is already available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, while on Nintendo Switch it will be released a little later.
The developers have made many important changes and improvements, and first of all it is worth paying attention to the interface. Players can now again change the name of cities and units, as it was in all parts of Civilisation, starting from the first one, but for some reason this option was not available on the release of the seventh part. In addition, the developers have improved the overall readability of the interface, increased the visibility of the health bar, added new notifications, and the informativeness of tooltips has increased significantly.
Not without changes in gameplay. Thus, the authors of the strategy worked with the generation of the map and added a new mode of world creation - "Standard". In it the final result will resemble the sixth part of Civilisation, and the continents will become more diverse and unpredictable. And the previously existing method of generation is now called "Balanced". In the future, the game will have even more diverse map generation options.
The patch added another Wonder of the World - Everest.
A number of bugs have been fixed as well.
The full list of changes can be found on the game page.
