Google Messages now supports full-screen animation effects for emoji

Google has updated its Messages app for Android, adding support for on-screen emoji effects.
Here's What We Know
Users can now see full-screen animations when sending messages containing two or more of the same emoji. This feature was previously only available for certain words and phrases, but it has now been extended to emoji as well. Below shows which paired emoji trigger full-screen animations.

These animations work exclusively with messages sent via Rich Communication Services (RCS) and are not available for SMS. Google has not yet specified in which regions or how widely the feature is rolling out.
The company had previously launched screen effects, but temporarily removed them due to mixed user feedback. Some find the feature fascinating, while others find it distracting.
