Samsung has unveiled the second beta version of One UI 7.0, based on Android 15, for the Galaxy S23 series of smartphones, which includes the S23, S23+ and S23 Ultra models.

Here's What We Know

The update, which has been given the firmware number ZYCE, has been made available to users in the UK and is expected to arrive in other countries soon. Galaxy S23 FE owners will not be able to install this update as their device is not participating in the beta programme.

Among the new features of the update are artificial intelligence features previously only available on the Galaxy S25. For example, you can now use a long press of the power button to summon Google Gemini, and there are now word processing tools such as summarising and highlighting any text on a web page. However, features such as Audio Eraser remain exclusive to newer models.

The update also fixes several bugs and improves performance, signalling that the stable version of One UI 7, scheduled for April 2025, is approaching.
