Two planes of the French aerobatic team Patrouille de France collided in mid-air during a training flight near BA113 in Saint-Dizier. The pilots ejected and survived.

What we know

Patrouille de France is one of the oldest and most famous aerobatic teams in the world. It was founded in 1931 and performs complex manoeuvres on the Alpha Jet.

The accident occurred on 25 March 2025 while performing manoeuvres on Alpha Jet aircraft. The incident was confirmed by the French Air Force.

At 15:35 local time, the planes collided, sustaining critical damage. Both pilots and another crew member successfully ejected and remained unharmed.

The falling wreckage caused a fire at one of the enterprises, which was quickly extinguished. No injuries or fatalities were reported.
