Samsung announces Neo QLED 8K 2025 TVs with Vision AI, 240Hz for gaming and Dolby Atmos: prices from $3,299
Samsung Electronics America has announced the global launch of its new Neo QLED 8K 2025 series, which includes the QN990F and QN900F models.
Here's What We Know
The main novelty is the Samsung Vision AI system. It combines adaptive picture and sound to deliver improved content quality. The system also includes the Live Translate subtitle function in real time. Users can use the Click to Search option to search for actors appearing on the screen. In addition, it is possible to control the TV with hand gestures using the Universal Gestures feature on the Galaxy Watch.
Both models are powered by the NQ8 AI Gen3 processor, which supports 8K AI Upscaling to enhance lower-resolution content. The QN990F model (65" to 98" diagonals) includes 8K AI Upscaling Pro, Glare-Free Quantum Matrix Mini LED displays, and wireless One Connect Box that allows you to connect devices up to 9 metres away.
Thanks to Motion Xcelerator 240Hz and AI Motion Enhancer Pro, motion clarity is ensured, which is important for gaming and sports broadcasts. Sound is represented by Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound Pro, which synchronises audio with the movement on the screen.
The QN900F (65" to 85") also supports 8K AI Upscaling, has a metal bezel and 165Hz Motion Xcelerator. It features Object Tracking Sound+ technology and Dolby Atmos for enhanced sound.
These models also use Glare-Free technology for improved visibility in bright rooms.
