Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the greatest football figures in history, will appear in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves as a full-fledged playable character. This is undoubtedly one of the most exciting crossovers in the fighting game genre in recent years.

Here's What We Know

Developer and publisher SNK Corporation has released a trailer showing how Ronaldo has been reimagined in the comic book style of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. He uses football attacks (one of Ronaldo's team moves is called "Header", and he can do a roll-up), and even performs his signature "Siuuu" gesture. However, Ronaldo did not voice his character - this was done by voice actor Juan Felipe Sierra.

Here is the official description of Ronaldo's character:

"One of the best footballers in the world. He uses his free time to visit South Town and improve his new football skills. The various techniques he has developed from playing football make him an irresistible force even to experienced fighters."

The 40-year-old striker currently plays for Al Nasr, a professional football club based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which competes in the Saudi Pro League. The club is owned by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF), which is headed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Coincidentally, SNK is now almost entirely owned by the Saudi Crown Prince's fund.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves will be released on 24 April 2025 on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation.
