Riot Games is developing its «CS: GO with the characters» Project A mostly in silence. Only recently gamers have learned more details about the project. And a eSports commentator was the source. Now new screenshots and a probable name of the game appeared in the network.

What is known

Riot Games registered a trademark Valorant on February 20. Later on the company created accounts on Twitter and Twitch, and now the pages received official "ticks". An eSports insider Slasher noticed changes, after which the Valorant accounts have lost verification.

According to insider sources, Riot Games plans to publish more information about Valorant on March 2. In addition, the company has been already connecting pro-players and streamers on League of Legends, CS: GO and even Overwatch, who will highlight the project.

Later on the magazine IGN accidentally published Valorant screenshots, where you can see the characters as well as the design of weapons cards.

Riot Games is hiding so far the details about Valorant gameplay, but a commentator for CS: GO Henry Greer has played the new project and shared his impressions. According to the "tester", Project A is a tactical shooter with 5 by 5 battles, which is more like CS: GO, but with classes and abilities as in Overwatch and Apex Legends. The player also said that the characters' abilities matter less than in these games, so gamers will have to rely on weapons more.
