Oppo is preparing to launch a new budget tablet, the Oppo Pad SE, which will offer an affordable alternative to more expensive models.

Here's What We Know

This will be a mid-range tablet equipped with the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, which is already used by other popular models such as the Oppo Pad Neo and Redmi Pad.

Before the release of the gadget, there was information about its certification in several regions, including Singapore through IMDA, as well as testing on Geekbench. It is known that Oppo Pad SE will have two versions: with LTE support (model OPD2420) and Wi-Fi only (model OPD2419). It is also known that the tablet will have a 10.95-inch screen and 4GB of RAM, as well as 128GB of internal storage.

In terms of specifications, the tablet will run on Android 15. Geekbench benchmarking results showed that the LTE model will have 4 GB of RAM and will be powered by the Helio G99 chipset. Although the chipset is almost three years old, it remains popular in the budget segment due to its stable performance.

Other details about the Oppo Pad SE remain unknown, including the exact date of the announcement. However, given the certifications and other documents, we can expect the tablet to be launched in several regional markets in the near future.

Oppo has recently announced an event to be held on 10 April 2025, where the company will unveil new products for the Chinese market. These will include the Find X8 series of smartphones, the Oppo Pad 4 Pro tablet, the Watch X2 Mini smartwatch, and the Enco Free 4 wireless headphones.
