Another success for a superb game: Split Fiction has entered the Guinness Book of World Records with three achievements at once

No one can argue with the fact that the co-operative adventure game Split Fiction has become an absolute success for game designer Josef Fares and his studio Hazelight Studios.
The game received the highest critical acclaim, rave reviews from gamers, sold well and even got into the Guinness Book of Records - it became known today.
Here's What We Know
Split Fiction set three world records at once and all of them were recorded in the first week after release.
On the official page of Guinness World Records it is stated that Split Fiction became "the most popular local co-operative game in Steam", "the best-selling local co-operative video game within 48 hours after release" and "the best-selling local co-operative video game in the first week".
There is no doubt that Split Fiction has many more records and awards to look forward to in the future, perhaps it will be the Game of the Year, although the competition is already immense, even though 2025 has only just begun.
