Almost iPad mini: insider reveals the unusual aspect ratio of the first foldable iPhone

More and more information about the first foldable iPhone model is appearing online.
It has already been repeatedly expressed by well-known insiders Mark Gurman and Ming-Chi Kuo, and now another authoritative source has said its word.

Chinese insider Digital Chat Station reported that the foldable iPhone will have a 4:3 aspect ratio when unfolded, while when folded it will have a standard 16:9 ratio for a smartphone.
With this decision, Apple will bring its phone closer to some iPad models.
As mentioned earlier, the large foldable iPhone has a customised aspect ratio of about 4:3 in order to achieve consistency between the inner and outer screens and to bring the software ecosystem in line with the iPad.
