Assassin's Creed Shadows turned out to be much better and more interesting than many gamers expected. Not least of all it is facilitated by flexible difficulty setting - it allows to complicate or simplify fights, stealth and terrain orientation, giving each player the experience he needs.

However, the developers do not plan to stop there and can add what hardcore players would like.

Here's What We Know

The game's creative director Jonathon Dumont said that Ubisoft is considering adding an additional difficulty level to Assassin's Creed Shadows that will challenge even the most experienced gamers.

The developer explained that not all of the public's requests are possible and feasible to realise, but it is the increased difficulty that they may well add in one of the updates.

Dumont asked everyone who would like to make Shadows even harder to play, and if there will be a lot of such requests, the team will listen to them. Meanwhile Ubisoft is working on fixing bugs and introducing new features.

Assassinʼs Creed Shadows is available on PC, PS5, Xbox Series and Mac, as well as adapted for the Steam Deck handheld console and has an improved version for PS5 Pro.
