Garmin is preparing a new Vivoactive 6: specs leaks and release date

Garmin is probably preparing to update its popular smartwatch series, including the Vivoactive and Forerunner. While there is still little information about the Forerunner 975, details about the new Vivoactive 6 model have recently surfaced online.
Here's What We Know
The Vivoactive 6 will be the successor to the Vivoactive 5, which has been on sale for over 18 months. The Vivoactive 5 has a 42 mm case, a bright round AMOLED screen, up to 11 days of battery life, and a number of features typical of more expensive Garmin models.
The new Vivoactive 6 is rumoured to be available in four colours, each with a silicone strap.
According to the leaks, the Vivoactive 6 will feature an accelerometer, compass, and gyroscope, but will not have an altimeter or ECG support. Instead, the watch will offer features for athletes.

One of the notable changes is the update of the control button on the watch case. Instead of the standard Garmin button, the new model will have a digital crown-like button, which should improve usability. However, the leaks do not indicate any additional functionality of this button.
Speaking of sensors, the Vivoactive 6 will have an updated Elevate V5 heart rate sensor, which will provide more accurate heart rate measurement during exercise.
Additionally, it is reported that the Vivoactive 6 should be released next month. Although the exact release date is not yet known, users are expecting an official presentation in the coming weeks.
