Samsung continues to update its apps for compatibility with One UI 7, which will be officially released on 7 April. This week, the company released an update for Pentastic, an app that allows you to customise the Air Command menu for the S Pen.

Here's What We Know

Although the app already worked on One UI 7, the new version officially confirms its full compatibility with this shell. In addition, Samsung has added the ability to change the Air Command menu icon that appears on the screen. Users can now select any image from the gallery. However, there are limitations: there are no ready-made presets, and there is no function to manually crop the image. The system automatically selects the centre of the photo, which may affect the final appearance of the icon.

This feature is not currently available for Galaxy S25 Ultra. It works on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, although it only uses the beta version of One UI 7. Samsung is expected to fix this situation in the near future.

The Pentastic update (version 2.3.08) is already available in the Galaxy Store, although its rollout is gradual. If it is not yet available in your region, you can download the APK file from APKMirror and install it manually.

Samsung has announced that the One UI 7 update will begin rolling out in April and will be available for a number of Galaxy devices. The update is based on Android 15 and is one of the biggest updates for the company's devices in recent years. The Galaxy S, Galaxy and Galaxy Tab series devices will be the first to receive the update.
