TCL unveils new modular soundbar Z100 with Dolby Atmos support
TCL has announced the Z100, a new smart modular speaker designed to create immersive sound in the home.

The device features four professionally tuned speakers delivering up to 170 watts of power. Dolby Atmos FlexConnect technology, developed with Dolby engineers and the TCL Golden Ear team, allows the Z100 to be synchronised with compatible TCL TVs to create surround sound. Built-in microphones analyse room acoustics and an intelligent calibration system automatically adjusts the sound for optimal performance.
The speaker system supports frequencies above 20kHz thanks to silk dome tweeters and powerful magnets. An optional Z100-SW subwoofer with 130 watts of power is available to boost bass. The Z100 supports modular expansion, allowing you to connect up to four speakers and one subwoofer, giving you access to 14 channels and 18 speakers.
The design of the device is inspired by a celestial theme and available colours include grey, gold and turquoise. Bluetooth 5.3 is used for connectivity and auto-calibration ensures easy setup. The device is priced at 1,499 yuan ($206) in China. The international launch of this speaker is not yet known.
