Xiaomi launches worldwide budget smartphone Redmi A5 with 120Hz screen and 5200 mAh battery at a price of $80
Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Redmi A5 budget smartphone in the global market.
Here's What We Know
The device features a 6.88-inch display with HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and brightness up to 450 nits. The smartphone is powered by a UNISOC T7250 processor, complemented by 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of inbuilt eMMC 5.1 storage. The Redmi A5 gets a 5200mAh battery with 15W fast charging support via USB Type-C port.
The primary camera of the device has a resolution of 32MP, while the front camera is 8MP. Other specs include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, face unlock using artificial intelligence, dual SIM support, microSD slot, Android 15 GO Edition, 4GB virtual RAM expansion, 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth 5.2 and dual-band Wi-Fi.
The Redmi A5 is available for $79 and is already on sale in some regions.
