Those who thought the release of Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim, based on the creepy online horror game Dead by Daylight, was strange, may be sickened by the following news.

Exactly one year ago - on 1 April 2024 - Pocketpair Studios, which at the time had just released the hit Palworld, announced a game that many thought was a April Fool's joke. The developers revealed a trailer of the dating simulator Pal♡world! ~More Than Just Pals~.
However, it turned out that it's not a joke - in Steam really appeared the page of such game with a brief description of the plot, according to which the protagonist enters the prestigious private academy Palpagos as an exchange student, where he meets unique Pal friends. He will be able to befriend them and have romance with them, and those he doesn't like he can eat.

Release date of Pal♡world! ~More Than Just Pals~ is not yet known.
It remains possible that the joke from Pocket Pair got a sequel, but it's unlikely that Steam would take part in such shenanigans.
