British studio Rebellion, known for the Sniper Elite series, is celebrating the most successful launch in its history with Atomfall. In the first week after the release, more than 1.5 million players joined the post-apocalyptic journey in an alternative Britain of the 1960s.

Here's What We Know

Atomfall was released on 27 March 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game has also been available from day one on Xbox Game Pass, which has contributed to a significant increase in the number of players.

Jason Kingsley, CEO of Rebellion, said: "Surpassing the 1 million player mark in such a short time is a testament to the creativity and dedication of the entire Rebellion team. Our size and stability allow us to take risks when creating something as different as Atomfall. Fortunately, this risk is paying off."

Rebellion plans to expand Atomfall's content and has already announced an upcoming expansion pack. Players can look forward to new adventures and expanding the game world in the near future.
