Business lessons from Nintendo: the company announced an introductory app for Switch 2, but will charge for it

In big business, it's important not only to come up with your own ideas, but also to use competitors' ideas wisely, as Nintendo proved today.
Here's What We Know
In 2020, the PlayStation 5 console was released and especially for it Sony developed a small game Astro's Playroom, which was pre-installed on all consoles and introduced all its features.
Nintendo has gone further than its counterparts and will be releasing a similar Welcome Tour app for Switch 2, but wants to charge for it.
The Nintendo Switch 2 Welcome Tour will launch on the same day as the console's release - 5 June - and will introduce the ins and outs of the system. It will be a collection of mini-games and recorded videos and the cost of such an app has not yet been revealed.
It's certainly a great idea for an app, especially if you need to learn what the Switch 2 is capable of, but something suggests that few gamers will want to spend their money on such an introduction and would rather learn about the console's features in more interesting games.
