Spark Alliance: Europe's largest charging operators join together to network 11,000+ chargers

Finding a charger for an electric car will become much easier - four leading companies in Europe have set up a network of 11,000 chargers in 25 countries.
Here's What We Know
Atlante, Electra, Fastned and IONITY announced their collaboration on 2 April 2025 in Paris. Together they have formed the Spark Alliance.
The alliance solves one of the problems of electric car owners - the need to sort through the maze of different operators, apps and pricing structures. Now drivers won't have to download a new app or enter new payment details for each new charging station.
Users will be able to easily access, charge and pay at any of the more than 1,700 alliance member stations at simple and transparent prices, regardless of the make or model of their electric vehicle. All they need to do is use their favourite app from any alliance member operator.
To find the nearest station, the apps of all Spark Alliance members will show not only their own chargers, but also the stations of other network members. This will make it much easier to find one of the 11,000 renewable energy charging points.
