Bungie hints at news about Marathon in the near future: what is the studio preparing?
Bungie, of Destiny 2 fame, seems to have started warming up the audience for new announcements regarding its upcoming extraction shooter Marathon.
Here's What We Know
The game's official Twitter account posted a mysterious "glitch" video and updated the banner image. Shortly after, the official PlayStation account also changed its banner to a Marathon-related image. In addition, updates were noticed on the game's Steam, Facebook, and YouTube pages.
These actions have caused a wave of speculation among fans who are waiting for new information about the franchise's relaunch. Back in February, journalist Jeff Grubb reported that Marathon was not presented at PlayStation State of Play, as a separate event dedicated to the game is planned for April.
Although there is no official confirmation from PlayStation or Bungie as to the date of the next announcement, such activity on social media suggests that news may come soon.
