Sandfall Interactive has shared fresh details about its upcoming RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, including revealing the graphical modes for the consoles. Players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X will be able to choose between Performance and Quality modes, which will allow them to adjust the balance between frame rate and resolution.

Here's What We Know

Unfortunately, the developers did not specify specific frame rates and resolutions for each mode. Xbox Series S was not mentioned, which may indicate that there is only one mode. On the positive side, the game will receive improvements for PS5 Pro, promising "improved performance".

However, we can assume that the game will run at 60 fps and 1080p in Performance mode, and 4K and 30 fps in Quality mode.

On PC, Sandfall confirmed the availability of various settings and presets for graphics from "Low" to "Epic". Again, the details remain unknown.

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will be released on 24 April on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. The game is set in a world inspired by Belle Époque France and tells the story of the trials of an expedition that sets out to defeat the Artist before she destroys humanity. The RPG promises more than 30 hours of main story and about the same amount of side content for the price of $50.
