Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi said that drones flying at 20 km have been used against Russian invaders at the front.

Here's What We Know

Previously, the range of such drones was only 5-10 km. However, Ukraine has recently conducted the first tests of fibre-optic FPV drones with a range of more than 20 km - more than 15 manufacturers tested their products at the test site.

"We continue to increase the number and capabilities of fibre-optic drones. Unmanned aerial vehicles with a strike range of 20 km are already operating at the frontline," he said.

The peculiarity of fibre-optic drones is the absence of radio emissions. As a result, they cannot be detected by enemy radio reconnaissance and are fully protected from electronic warfare.
