Intel Unison support will end in 2025: the app will only work on Lenovo Aura

Intel has announced that it is discontinuing support for Intel Unison, a tool that allowed owners of Android and iOS devices to connect their smartphones and tablets to Windows PCs.
Here's What We Know
The service will finally stop working for most users at the end of June 2025. However, owners of compatible Lenovo laptops with Lenovo Aura support will be able to use the app until the end of 2025.
Intel Unison was introduced in 2022 and was initially available only on selected Intel Evo series laptops. In 2023, the company expanded its support to include other PCs, including those with ARM processors. All you needed was Windows 11, at least 4 GB of RAM, Bluetooth, and an internet connection.

Unison allowed users to make calls, send SMS, browse the smartphone's gallery, receive notifications from apps directly to the PC, and quickly transfer files between devices. In addition, it was possible to connect the tablet as a second screen or control it using the computer's keyboard and mouse.
Intel does not comment on the reasons for this decision. However, many users consider Unison to be a more convenient alternative even to Microsoft's proprietary Windows Phone Link.
On 18 March, Lip-Bu Tan became the CEO of Intel. Along with his new position, he also returned to the Intel board of directors, from which he left in August 2024.
