The next software update for the Samsung Galaxy S25 series will bring more than just a security patch. According to a source @tarunvats33, the April 2025 update will bring One UI 7.0 improvements that will enhance the user experience with smoother animations and new features.

Here's What We Know

One of the main changes will be an improved charging animation, which has been a source of criticism since the Galaxy S25 was released. Although the current animation works, it doesn't look quite smooth. The update promises to make it softer, improving the visual experience on both the status bar and lock screen.

Another new feature is the Now Bar animation for the media player in the status bar. This feature was already available in previous versions of One UI and will allow you to control media playback more conveniently and smoothly right from the status bar.

In addition, the update will fix bugs related to the quick settings switches for Location and Mobile data. Users have reported occasional crashes in their operation, and the new update is likely to fix these issues.

The April update will also include the security patch that Galaxy Flip 6 and Galaxy Fold 6 have already received as part of the One UI 7.0 Beta programme. The update will soon be available for the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra, bringing improved performance and smoother animations. Expect it to be released soon.
