Details about the design and specifications of Samsung's upcoming shockproof smartphone Galaxy XCover 7 Pro have emerged.

Here's What We Know

After the leaks from YTechB, we can say that the new product resembles the previous Galaxy XCover 7 model, but with a few improvements.

The design of Galaxy XCover 7 Pro will remain true to the tradition of Samsung's shockproof smartphones. Visually, it is similar to the Galaxy XCover 7 with thick bezels, a polycarbonate body and a textured back panel.

The screen has a front camera notch, and on the right side is the XCover button, which can be customised to quickly access various functions, such as barcode scanning or Push-to-Talk.

In terms of specs, the Galaxy XCover 7 Pro will feature a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It will have a dual camera on the back: a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. The front camera will have a resolution of 13 MP.

The smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, and will support microSD cards up to 2 TB. One of the main advantages will be the 4350 mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. The phone will also have IP68 certification and meet the requirements of MIL-STD-810H, which makes it resistant to shock.

The price of Galaxy XCover 7 Pro in Europe will be around €599. The official announcement and launch of the device is expected this month.
