KTC has launched a new 27-inch monitor, the H27P3, for the Chinese market. This monitor is already available on JD.com at a price of 2499 yuan ($344).

Here's What We Know

The H27P3 has two different modes of operation: an extraordinary 5K (5120 x 2880) resolution at 60Hz for detailed tasks and a 2K mode with a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother display during gaming or video.

The monitor features an IPS panel with DisplayHDR 400, 2000:1 contrast ratio and 500 nits of brightness. It supports 1.07 billion colours and is calibrated for 100% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3 and 99% Adobe RGB. This makes it ideal for tasks such as graphic design and video colour grading.

The H27P3 is optimised for macOS, supports high DPI scalability, and includes blue light filtering and DC dimming to reduce eye strain. The monitor also supports FreeSync and G-Sync technologies for a smoother picture.

The monitor is equipped with HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-A, USB-C, a 65W port for charging the display and laptop, and a 3.5mm audio output. The USB-C port will be especially useful for MacBook users, and KVM support makes it easy to switch between connected devices.

The H27P3 is equipped with a fully adjustable ergonomic stand (height, tilt and rotation). Weighing 3.75kg, it is compact enough for most workplaces. The package includes a DisplayPort cable, USB-C cable, power adapter and even a screwdriver.
