Oppo is preparing to update its popular Reno series, and new leaks give a first look at the Reno 14 Pro smartphone. According to the information published exclusively by Smartprix, the new product will receive several important design changes and some interesting updates.

Here's What We Know

The main change is the new camera design. Instead of the classic metal rings, as in Reno 13 Pro, the new smartphone has a more elegant vertical camera arrangement. The main camera and ultra-wide-angle lens are located in one module, and the periscopic telephoto lens is on top, next to the minimalist LED flash.

There are also changes on the front panel. Oppo has abandoned curved screens and Reno 14 Pro will have a flat OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. This screen will be more functional for everyday use, especially for typing and gaming, as it reduces the number of accidental touches.

Oppo Reno 14 Pro features a triple camera with a 50MP main sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom. A new physical button called "Magic Cube" is also expected to replace the traditional "do not disturb" switch and will have functionality similar to Apple's Action Button.

The Oppo Reno 14 Pro will run on Android 15 with ColorOS 15, have a glass back, metal frame and IP68/IP69 certification for water and dust protection.

Price and release

The official announcement of Reno 14 series is expected in China in May 2025. The price of the basic version will be approximately 2,699 yuan (about $370), and the Pro version will be 3,299 yuan (about $455).
