Gamers greeted The Last of Us Part II on PC much better than the remake of the first part, but the sequel's online peak was lower

The first weekend after the release of The Last of Us Part II on PC has passed, and players have already made up their minds. The verdict on Steam is very favourable, with 4,000 reviews and 88% of users recommending the game for purchase. What is the situation with online?

Here's What We Know

Due to the warm reception, The Last of Us Part II's peak online presence on Steam reached 30,690 players at a time.

This figure was lower than the peak online of The Last of Us Par I, which attracted 36,496 simultaneous players on the day of release.

Nevertheless, the new title was more popular than Marvel's Spider-Man 2 and Days Gone.

The Last of Us Part II was ranked 9th in the overall top of PlayStation Publishing LLC releases on Steam (and 8th in the top of single-player games).

Overall, PC gamers were satisfied with the sequel to The Last of Us.
