Hyundai has presented in Korea an unusual modification of the new generation of the Palisade SUV, which solves the problem of lack of headroom in a rather radical way.

Here's What We Know

The special version of the SUV received the designation Palisade Highroof. As you can guess from the name, the main difference of the model is the raised roof, which looks like a "hump" on the body. However, despite the contradictory aesthetics, such modification should find its buyer, as it is not the first such experiment of Koreans.

Thus, the minivan Hyundai Staria has been produced for several years in Lounge Limousine version with a raised roof. In addition, Kia Carnival has a modification Hi-Limousine with a similar design solution.

The height of Palisade Highroof has increased by 237 mm compared to the standard model and now makes 2002 mm. Length - 5060 mm - remains unchanged.

It is not possible to see the interior in detail yet, as the model presented at the Seoul Mobility Show 2025 is a pre-production model. However, it is noticeable that the car has received a folding screen in the ceiling for rear row passengers and wireless charging for smartphones. The production model is expected to be available in a six-seat configuration as well as a more luxurious four-seat configuration.

In addition to the Palisade Highroof, the Seoul Mobility Show 2025 also saw the unveiling of the second-generation Hyundai Nexo hydrogen crossover and the redesigned Hyundai Ioniq 6 sedan with split front optics and N Line version.
