iOS 19 interface with round icons and new animations shown online (video)

Front Page Tech shared new details about possible changes in the design of iOS 19. According to Apple sources, iOS 19 will have a visionOS design with transparent interface elements such as buttons, menus, and notifications.
Here's What We Know
One of the most noticeable changes is rounder application icons. According to information, these icons are hidden by default in iOS 19 test builds. When you long press on a square-shaped icon (squircle), it should change to a more rounded one with an animation. It is likely that Apple is trying to hide this obvious design move until the official announcement of iOS 19 at WWDC in June.
Another significant change is the addition of a new pill-shaped tab bar that will be present in many standard apps, such as the App Store, Apple Music, Apple TV, Messages, and Phone.
In the search tab, an elongated search bar will appear with a round button on the left that allows you to return to the expanded tab bar. The video also shows new animations when switching between tabs.

In the Messages app, the search bar will remain on the screen throughout the entire interaction. Some interface elements will also change, including the corners in the Haptic Touch menu, as well as the volume and brightness sliders in Control Centre, which will become more rounded. The appearance of camera and microphone access requests will also be updated.

Design changes will also affect the Settings app, which will have thinner switches and default keyboards.
iOS 19 is set to receive lighting effects that will give it an even more glassy look, including glitter effects on the Flashlight and Camera buttons on the Lock Screen.
The first beta version of iOS 19 should be available after WWDC on 9 June, with the official update expected in September.
