In the film Minecraft, eagle-eyed viewers have spotted a scene that they believe alludes to the famous myth of Herobrine. However, Torfi Frans Olafsson, Senior Creative Director at Mojang Studios and producer of the film, explained that this was not a deliberate Easter egg, but the result of a technical error.

Here's What We Know

In the scene that takes place in the Forest Manor, Henry's character sees a vision of Steve with white eyes, which resembles the image of Herobrine, a mythical character with white eyes.

Fans assumed that this was a deliberate reference to the legend. However, Olafsson explained: "All the eyes were supposed to be purple, but during the rendering process, one eye turned out white. We left it in because the visual effects studio didn't have time to fix it."

Herobrine is a fictional character created by the Minecraft community that became popular in the 2010s. Despite numerous denials from Mojang, the myth of Herobrine remains part of the game's culture.

Thus, the appearance of Steve with white eyes in the film is not a deliberate prank, but the result of a technical error, which, however, added intrigue for fans of the game.
