A new feature in iOS 19 for the iPhone 17 Pro is expected to allow you to record video from the front and rear cameras simultaneously. This feature, which has been popular on Android devices since 2013, was first introduced by Samsung with the Galaxy S4.

Here's What We Know

Since then, other manufacturers, including Motorola, have also added support for simultaneous recording from both cameras in their devices.

iOS 19, according to the latest leaks, will feature a new camera that will allow you to record video from the front and rear cameras simultaneously on iPhone 17 Pro models. This will be a significant upgrade for Apple users, as this feature will appear on the iPhone only more than a decade after its debut on Android.

In addition to the new camera feature, iOS 19 will add several significant visual changes. Leaks point to an updated interface, including new icons with rounded corners. New animations similar to the Dynamic Island effects are also expected, and the Control Centre will have rounder sliders for brightness and volume.

It is likely that Apple is trying to hide this obvious design move until the official announcement of iOS 19 at WWDC in June.

The new TabView dock, which will be used in Apple applications such as Music and Phone, will create a more unified interface for the system and third-party applications. A new switch will appear in the Settings app right on the home page, and a search field will be added to Messages.
