Polish portal PPE has revealed some important information for those planning to play Cyberpunk 2077 on Nintendo Switch 2.

Here's What We Know

Representatives of CD Projekt RED told the site's editors that Cyberpunk 2077 will run on the new console in four modes:

  • Performance (docked) - 1080p, up to 40 FPS;
  • Quality (docked) - 1080p, 30 FPS;
  • Performance (portable mode) - 720p, up to 40 FPS;
  • Quality (portable mode) - 1080p, 30 FPS.

Earlier, the Polish developer confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Cyberpunk 2077 supports full cross-progression with other platforms - this means that gamers will be able to start a playthrough on PC, for example, and continue it on Switch 2 at any time, but an account on CD Projekt's own service will likely be required to transfer saves.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be sold in an Ultimate Edition, which will include the Phantom Liberty story add-on, priced at $70, with a physical edition (on cartridges) and a digital edition (on the Nintendo eShop) available to buyers.

Cyberpunk 2077 on Switch 2 will feature gyroscope aiming, support for the full capabilities of the Joy-Con controllers (which, incidentally, never got Hall technology support), including mouse functionality, and touchscreen engagement.

Nintendo Switch 2 will go on sale on the 5th of June, and on that day you can start playing Cyberpunk 2077 with the Phantom Liberty add-on.
