Netflix has finally announced the premiere date of the fourth season of the animated anthology series LOVE DEATH + ROBOTS. The new episodes will be available on the platform on 15 May, and we are waiting for 10 brand new stories, each in the signature style: futurism, blood, philosophy, and pattern-breaking techno-aesthetics.

Along with the announcement, Netflix has posted the official trailer for the season. It has everything fans need: short clips from new episodes, a bit of infernal arthouse, a little bit of cyberpunk, and - traditionally - a mysterious atmosphere where life, death, and robots are once again clarifying their relationship.

The project, created with the participation of Tim Miller (Deadpool) and David Fincher (Mindhunter, Fight Club), continues to experiment with visual styles, narratives and genres: from hard dystopia to absurd animated satire. Each episode is a separate world, separate characters, separate animation style, and it seems that this tradition will only be strengthened in Season 4.

The previous three seasons have won numerous awards, including 11 Emmys, and have become a cultural phenomenon within adult animation. The fourth season is a chance to plunge into parallel realities where robots can be kinder than humans and love can be more terrible than death.

Netflix has not yet commented on whether this will be the final anthology. But one thing is for sure: there will be a lot of love, death, and robots again in May, and that sounds like a plan.
