Activision may be preparing two Call of Duty re-releases - such a conclusion can be drawn from information released by the Australian Classification Board.

Here's What We Know

The Australian Classification Board has given an age rating to two mysterious games MW2 - PS5 Cross-Gen Edition and MW3 - Cross-Gen Edition.

What these projects are - is not known, but the age rating "For Adults Only" and the abbreviation MW hint that we are talking about remasters of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (2011).

The first of the mentioned games already had a remaster for last generation consoles, while Modern Warfare 3 (2011) is only available on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

It's worth remembering that in February there were rumours that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will appear in Game Pass, probably that's what the remaster is being prepared for. And the third part needed an update, and there is a good chance that it will also be added to the catalogue of the service.
