Following the recent closure of Monolith Productions, Player First Games, and WB Games San Diego, as well as the cancellation of the Wonder Woman game, Warner Bros. Games seems to be working on a new, yet-to-be-announced project scheduled for release this year.

Here's What We Know

According to the LinkedIn profile of Warner Bros. Games' Head of Game Design Brandon Maraia, he has been "managing game design for a new unannounced project scheduled to launch in 2025" since May 2023.

This information comes amid a difficult period for Warner Bros. Games. In February, the company announced the closure of three studios: Monolith Productions, known for the Middle-earth series, Player First Games, the developer of MultiVersus, and WB Games San Diego. In addition, the development of the Wonder Woman game that Monolith Productions was working on was cancelled.

Currently, details about the new project remain unknown, but if the information about the planned release in 2025 is correct, the official announcement may take place in the near future.
