Mickey Mouse and company are heading to new platforms: Disney Illusion Island coming to PS5, Xbox Series and PC on 30 May
After its debut on Nintendo Switch in July 2023, the Disney Illusion Island Starring Mickey Friends platformer is preparing to conquer new horizons. On 30 May, the game will be available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on Steam, GOG, and the Microsoft Store.
Here's What We Know
In this 2D platformer, players can choose one of four iconic characters - Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, or Goofy - and embark on a journey across the island of Monat to save it from a threat. The game supports a co-operative mode for four players, where participants can help each other using the unique abilities of their characters.
The version for new platforms will include two previously released updates - "Keeper Up" and "Mystery in Monoth", as well as new content "Cave Adventuring Scavenger Hunt (C.A.S.H.)" with Scrooge McDuck. In this expansion, players will get a new ability called Dig, which will allow them to find hidden treasures and upgrades.
The game received 7 points on Metacritic.
Disney Illusion Island Starring Mickey Friends already has a page on Steam. However, if you want the physical edition on PlayStation or Xbox, then physical copies will go on sale on 30 May in North America and 27 June in Europe.
