Samsung continues to actively roll out the One UI 7.0 update based on Android 15. After the Galaxy S24, the company released a stable version of the firmware for foldable smartphones - Galaxy Flip 6 and Galaxy Fold 6.

Here's What We Know

Users in Germany were the first to receive the update.

The update has firmware version F741BXXU2BYCJ for Galaxy Z Flip 6 and F956BXX2BYCK for Galaxy Fold 6. Along with One UI 7.0, users receive the April 2025 security update.

This is a large update, so it may take some time to download and install. You can check for the update by going to Settings, Software update, Download & install.

One UI 7.0 brings significant changes, including a redesigned interface, new app icons, and a revamped notification and quick settings panel with built-in volume control. The camera has become more convenient for one-handed operation, and new widgets and design style for the lock and home screens have been introduced.

New features include charging animations, a new battery indicator, smoother transitions, and the Now Bar, an interactive panel with live notifications right on the lock screen. In addition, improvements have been made to Galaxy AI, including the Daily Brief widget.

The update is expected to become available in other regions in the near future.

Samsung describes One UI 7 as the "most personalised, intuitive and natural" interface, which includes new features such as Now Brief, Google Gemini integration, Sketch to Image and AI-powered search.
