Oppo unveils Watch X2 Mini with eSIM support, up to 7 days of battery life and sports features
Oppo has presented the new Watch X2 Mini smartwatch in the Chinese market along with the Find X8 series of smartphones.
Technical Characteristics
The Oppo Watch X2 Mini features a 1.32-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels and 1,000 nits of brightness, which ensures clarity even in the sun.
The watch is powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and 4GB for the RTOS. The battery life is up to 2.5 days in normal mode and up to 7 days in power saving mode. Fast charging provides a day's work in 10 minutes, and a full charge takes about an hour.
The Watch X2 Mini has a heart rate and SpO₂ sensor that allows you to monitor your health throughout the day. The watch monitors stress levels, sleep cycles (including REM phases), and even the risk of snoring. There is support for blood sugar monitoring when connected to compatible CGM devices.
The models support more than 100 sports modes with automatic start for six activities, including running, swimming and skiing. For runners, there is a special Fat Burn Run mode with voice prompts and post-workout feedback. In addition, the watch has a Travel Guardian system that allows you to share your location in real time and receive health alerts.
The Oppo Watch X2 Mini supports eSIM for making calls and responding to WeChat messages without connecting to a smartphone. There is also NFC for payment, access to smart doors and digital car keys for some car models. Five satellite systems are supported for navigation, and the watch is 5ATM and IP68 certified for water and dust resistance.
Price and availability
The Oppo Watch X2 Mini will be available in black and silver for RMB 1,799 (approximately $250), while the premium gold version will cost RMB 2,099 (approximately $290). Sales will start on 16 April 2025 in China.
