It's beautiful! Audio-Technica introduced exclusive headsets featuring Darth Vader in traditional Japanese style

Audio-Technica Japan recently introduced an The sound of "Battlestar Galactica" in your ears: Audio-Technica unveils exclusive Star Wars-inspired TWS headphone series, designed in the style of four famous characters from the iconic Star Wars franchise: The Mandalorian, Grogu, Darth Vader and the famous droid R2-D2.

However, the Japanese masters have announced another interesting novelty that will delight fans of the Galaxy Far, Far Away.

Here's What We Know

Audio-Technica will release ten exclusive headsets ATH-AWSW DV with the image of Darth Vader, made in the traditional Japanese technique of Maki-e and lacquered with Echizen.

The headphones come in a special wooden box decorated with the symbols of the galactic Empire. The set includes a stylised stand.

The headphones weigh 415 grams (excluding the cable) and feature 53mm drivers with specially tuned acoustic design and Hi-Res Audio support. Users will receive two cables: one 3 metres long with a gold-plated 6.3mm stereo plug and another 1.2 metres long with a gold-plated 3.5mm mini-plug.

These headphones will be available for purchase at the Audio-Technica booth during the Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025 event on 18 April.

The exclusive headsets will cost approximately $7000.
