The former Bloodborne producer has set up his own studio that will create ambitious games for consoles, VR and mixed reality devices
The former producer of the cult game Bloodborne and one of the heads of the now closed Japan Studio (part of PlayStation Studios) Teruyuki Toriyama founded his own company.

Teruyuki Toriyama has started Sirius Studio with the ambitious goal of creating top-notch games for consoles and virtual and mixed reality devices.
Sirius Studio employs twenty people so far, including several game industry veterans such as Ko Okamura (Blue Dragon) and Tsubasa Miyamoto (Resident Evil 7, Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown).
The team will both create new franchises and work with other people's intellectual property.
The studio is part of the Gz Group, which focuses on developing mobile and PC games, but Toriyama's studio has chosen a different direction.
One of Sirius Studio's games is in development, but it will be a long wait.
Flashback
As a producer at Japan Studio, Toriyama co-wrote several well-known projects, including: Demon's Souls, Astro Bot: Rescue Mission, Soul Sacrifice, and Bloodborne. Toriyama left Japan Studio in 2020.
