Polish studio Bloober Team is preparing to reveal more details about the sci-fi horror game Cronos: The New Dawn.

Here's What We Know

All those who are interested in the new game from the authors of the excellent Silent Hill 2 remake and less hit but excellent horror games Layers of Fear, Observer and The Medium, should remember the date: 16th of April. On this day Bloober Team will show new gameplay footage of Cronos: The New Dawn.

It is not excluded that Polish horror masters will reveal the release date of the new game.

As a reminder, the storyline of Cronos: The New Dawn is that some sort of global catastrophe occurred in the 80's that nearly wiped out humanity and turned some people into creepy creatures called "Orphans".

When creating Cronos, the game designers were inspired by the cult space horror Dead Space, and in terms of difficulty they are oriented to the Dark Souls series, but of course the game will not be so hardcore.

The Polish authors also noted the influence of Netflix's Dark series and the films The Thing by John Carpenter and 12 Monkeys on the development of Cronos: The New Dawn.

When We Can Expect It

Cronos: The New Dawn is expected to release in 2025 on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
