Vampires vs. Serpent Queen: V Rising developers have unveiled a gameplay trailer for the major Invaders of Oakveil update
Swedish Stunlock Studios presented a gameplay trailer of the major update Invaders of Oakveil, which will add a lot of interesting content to the popular vampire isometric action-RPG with survival elements V Rising.
Here's What We Know
The developers showed gameplay footage, demonstrated new mechanics and announced that players will have to face the snake queen Megara, who with her poisoned blades casts spoil on the lands of the Forests of Oak Veil (Oakveil).
Update 1.1 is dedicated to the events in the ancient forest, which for a long time was in peace and prosperity, but now its inhabitants will face the invasion of dangerous forces - fierce warriors from the sea.
The authors of V Rising promise a lot of interesting and significant innovations, among which the following deserve special attention:
- new forest biome with dangerous enemies, bosses and dark magic techniques;
- a battle arena, which can be built in the castle. You can challenge both your mates and any opponent in the game world - these duels do not carry the threat of losing progress;
- additional weapons and spells;
- the largest improvement of the combat system - the developers have revised the characteristics and balance, as well as introduced enhanced tools for customisation;
- new castle features and cosmetic items.
When We Can Expect It
Invaders of Oakveil will be released on 28 April on Steam and PlayStation 5.
