Samsung unveils preview of One UI 7 for Galaxy Tab S9 FE: first user impression

Samsung has finally started rolling out One UI 7 for its 2024 flagship models, including the Galaxy S24 series and the sixth generation of foldable smartphones.
Here's What We Know
Despite the fact that the Galaxy Tab S9 FE 2023 was not included in the beta testing programme, one user has already managed to install the preview version of One UI 7 on his tablet. For those of you waiting for the official update, Samsung plans to release a stable version of One UI 7 for the Tab S9 FE in the summer of 2025.
The information came to light thanks to X user @Alfaturk16, who shared videos and images showing a Galaxy Tab S9 FE running on an internal test version of One UI 7. The update is version X516BXXU7CYD1 and even includes the April 2025 security patch. The update weighs about 3.6 GB.

Since this is a test build, some animations look a bit delayed, which can be explained by the use of an average Exynos 1380 processor. The additional load from screen recording can also cause minor delays. Nevertheless, the overall user experience looks encouraging, indicating a minimal amount of refinement before the stable version.
The video also shows off a few new features of One UI 7 for Tab S9 FE, such as a relocated search bar in the app menu and a new NowBar.
The official One UI 7 update for the Tab S9 FE is expected in June 2025, and for the Tab S9, S9+ and S9 Ultra models in May.
