Full-fledged sales of OnePlus Watch 3 have started, but US buyers should again say "thank you" to their president - the cost of the watch turned out to be much higher than originally announced by the manufacturer.

At the time of the announcement of the OnePlus Watch 3, it was announced that in the US the cost of the gadget will be $329. But in February, the Chinese company could not foresee that Trump would start a real trade war and impose huge duties against China, which today amount to 145%.
As a result, the OnePlus Watch 3 ended up costing 50% more in the US at $499.
In most other regions, the cost of the watch has remained unchanged.
Recall, it was this watch that was "Meda in China": funny typo found on OnePlus Watch 3 smartwatch case which was on the first batch and it was because of this manufacturing defect that the full-fledged sale of the watch began two months later.
