On the 25th of April in Steam will be released an ambitious futuristic shooter La Quimera from Reburn studio, founded by former employees of the Ukrainian studio 4A Games - the author of the Metro trilogy.

Previously shown trailers aroused great interest of the public and it's not surprising, because La Quimera attracts attention not only with excellent graphics and spectacular shootouts, but also with an interesting setting - cyberpunk in the South American metropolis of the future.

Here's What We Know

Representatives of Reburn studio gave an interview to the portal Wccftech, in which they revealed several interesting details of the game.

Developers reported that an experienced player can take no more than five hours to complete the single-player story campaign of the shooter. They explained that the team didn't have a goal to drag out the gameplay for dozens of hours, but instead wanted to provide an intensely immersive experience with great staged scenes and linear locations.

La Quimera will also feature a co-operative mode for teams of up to four players, with each participant being able to individually select their own difficulty level, but the size of the group will determine the number of enemies and the damage they deal.

Reburn does not rule out that La Quimera may lay the foundation for a large-scale media franchise, but it is too early to talk about it, because everything depends on the success of the game.

Recall that in terms of gameplay and staging of scenes La Quimera resembles Metro, but with an obvious departure into the aesthetics of cyberpunk and with increased dynamics of events. It is noteworthy that for the story is responsible for the famous Danish director and screenwriter Nicolas Winding Refn, which gamers may know from the role of Heartman in Death Stranding.
