iPadOS 19 update will make iPad interface look like Mac with new features - Bloomberg

Apple is preparing to release iPadOS 19, which could be a significant step in the development of the iPad operating system. According to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the new version of iPadOS will be "more like macOS" and will bring a number of changes focused on productivity and multitasking.
Here's What We Know
It is expected that iPadOS 19 will focus on three main aspects: improved performance, improved multitasking, and improved application window management. These changes are intended to make the devices work more efficiently, bringing their functionality closer to the level of Macs.
iPad users have long pointed out that the operating system doesn't use the full potential of the devices' powerful hardware, and Apple seems ready to address this issue. Although Gurman did not share detailed specifications of the upcoming changes, he noted that this update was expected. iPad users with demanding requirements have been asking Apple to make the tablet even more powerful for a long time.
iPadOS 19 will be announced along with iOS 19, macOS 16 and other software updates during the WWDC 2025 conference on 9 June.
Apple plans to release the delayed Siri features this autumn. According to the report, the company has not cancelled its updated Siri, and plans to release a virtual assistant that will be able to perform tasks such as editing and sending a photo to a friend on request.
